Welcome to the website of the UBC Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP).

LSLAP is a non-profit society run by law students at the University of British Columbia.  We provide free advice and representation to clients who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance. Clinics are located throughout the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

LSLAP on the Tube!

Yet another reason to join LSLAP, at some point, you may end up on TV.

Watch the video to see Genevieve, our previous Operations Director, and Brian, our supervising lawyer, answer questions and promote our organization on Breakfast Television this past summer.

LSLAP Manual

As part of LSLAP's continuing community outreach project, we are pleased to offer the complete text of the 2009 Edition of the LSLAP Manual online. The Manual not only provides an outline of the procedures that participating law students are expected to follow, it also presents a considerable body of substantive law with appropriate precedents. Please note that the Manual deals primarily with the laws of the Government of Canada and the laws of British Columbia.

► The 2009 edition of the LSLAP Manual is now available in online and in print format. To view the 2009 LSLAP Manual click here or search the manual by entering keywords into the search box below.
