Please do not contact the UBC Law School to ask for legal advice, reach our program or student or book appointments. They are not affiliated with our program and will not forward any information to us. In addition, the Professors at the Law School do not give legal advice. Please call the number here to seek legal information or book an appointment.
Thank you for your consideration.
*To make an appointment, you must call the above number. If you call any other numbers associated with LSLAP, you will be redirected to the 604-822-5791 number.
*LSLAP no longer accepts family law files. Please see "LINKS" for family law referrals.
Please note that it is LSLAP policy not to give legal advice over the telephone, fax, or email. While you may have an extremely urgent question or legal problem, because we are students and not members of the professional bar, we simply cannot give legal advice over the telephone. There are, however, a number of services available which may be able to provide the answers you're looking for:
604-687-4680 or 1-800-565-5297 outside the Lower Mainland or www.dialalaw.org
Pre-recorded tape messages offering practical information on the law.
The Lawyer Referral Service
604-687-3221 or 1-800-663-1919 outside the Lower Mainland.
Referrals to lawyers by legal issue. Lawyers charge only $25.00 fee for half-hour consultation. During this time fees are negotiated, but some well-organized questions can get answers.
