The Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) is a non-profit run by law students at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. We provide free legal advice and representation to clients in the Lower Mainland who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance.
We have filled our appointments for the 2025 fall program. New intakes will resume in 2026 January. The online intake request system will be active in January 2026. Please see our referral list if you need immediate legal support. If you have an open file with us, please reach out to your clinician by email or leave a message on our phone lines, which are open: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. LSLAP is not under the purview of the Allard School of Law and UBC. Please DO NOT contact Allard or UBC for LSLAP matters.
Repetitive attempts to contact us may result in blacklisting and denial of our service. **Please note that LSLAP cannot give legal advice over the telephone.
