Dedicated to providing free legal advice since 1969.
The Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) is a non-profit run by law students at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. We provide free legal advice and representation to clients in the Lower Mainland who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance.
We have filled our appointments for the 2025 Spring program. New intakes will resume in May. Please see our referral list if you need immediate legal support. If you have an open file with us, please reach out to your clinician by email or leave a message on our phone lines, which are open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ** Please note: LSLAP will be in blackout from April 4, 2025, to May 12, 2025, and any communication may be delayed as clinicians will be unavailable during this time. Full time phone hours will continue to operate throughout March should you wish to book an appointment, ask about referrals, or leave a message for your student. Thank you for your understanding of the constraints of our volunteer program
